Fairbury Rural Station 1 Engine 31, Built by Smeal on a 1999 Freightliner chassis. This is our first due apparatus to rural structure fires for its high volume water output, and drafting ability. Top mounted pump panel allows 360 degree visibility on scenes, and operation of center mounted deck gun. Tower 51, Built by E-One. Our 2nd due structure apparatus. Aids in rooftop and hi-rise operations. Grass rig 28/Mule 61, A 2016 F350 SD with 2018 Kawasaki Mule 4010. Center Manway provides water off both sides for pump and roll attack of wildland fires. Mule allows additional access and utility on varied terrain. Grass rig 22/Mule 62, a 2008 F450 SD with Kawasaki Mule 2510. Additional personnel space, with mule for varied terrain. Rescue 17, Built on 1999 Freightliner chassis. Carries hydraulic, stabilizing, and water/ice rescue tools for automotive collisions and other rescues. Tender 43, 1999 International Navistar. 2000 gallon water transport to supply operations where hydrants are unavailable. (Relocated to station 2) Fairbury Rural Station 2. Formerly Fairbury City station, acquired in merger. Engine 33, built by Smeal on a 2000 freightliner chassis. Our first due apparatus to structure fires in city limits/where hydrants are available. Center mounted pump panel allows 360 degree scene view, and quick access to preconnected hose lays. Grass rig 24, 1992 F350. One of our fast attack grass rigs. Grass rig 26, 1980 K30.
